The Rising Sons team had an action packed week fishing the Orange Beach Billfish Classic and the Masters back to back! The team released two blue marlin in OBBC and fell short of placing, but Jaselyn Berthelot was able to win Lady Angler.
In the Masters, the team had a pretty slow 2 days to start the tournament and going into the last day they were all praying for a miracle. It was granted 30 minutes before they had to head in and the reel was screaming. Rob Inabinet fought the fish without it jumping and showing the team what was on the other side. After 45 minutes the fish came up and turned out to be a bluefin tuna! The team rushed and thanks to their MAN engines made it in with thirty minutes to spare. The team secured 2nd place with the 473# fish. This is the first Bluefin caught on Rising Sons, so it became a special moment for all. Stay tuned for more tournament recaps!
